In The PitRadar With Queezy T

Thank you for taking some time to talk to us. Can you please introduce yourself to our readers and tell us a little bit about what you do?

My Real names are Thabang James Magau which now I'm mostly known as Queezey T from Kimberley, 17 years old.

When did you start recording music?

at the age of 9 I was always curious of how people make songs,so I had a little interview about it with my dad about it and he told me people make songs mostly about what they go through. So at the time we moved to a new neighborhood ,didn't have no friends ,no nothing ,the only thing I had a was a dove that I kept like a pet.IT WAS MY BESTFRIEND! everyday I come from school the first thing I'll do is check if it's okay.So one day I came from school I found only it's feathers in the cage, the cats went through and ate it.I was crying my eyes out.

That's when I started writing my first song but it not like a proper song ,it Was WHACK ASF.(not recorded)
I kept on writing songs everyday. Fast forward back in 2017 my dad took me to this other studio,I was exited. I'd finally saw how a  studio looked like, but again it was just some old speakers and a mic.
But I never got the chance to record, the owner of that studio believed I was not fit enough for to record yet. That made me even more hungry to record but Nah.I walked an hour to Studio just to watch the mic and speakers lol. I had 100 lyrics, that's not recorded

So 2018 ,my math teacher took choose 5 learners to go to a career guide at Mayibuye and I was one of them ,I saw  people standing in a corner freestyling so I thought I could also join and leave something.Somehow they got impressed and told me to pull up to their studio ,I pulled up and recorded my First Song 'Do or Die'

That's really beautiful man! To think it all started with a dove is fire haha! I’ve been following your music since about 2019/2020 and your versatility has always hooked me, I’ve been a fan since! It's crazy that you recorded your first song at age 14, mad respect for your dedication to the craft!

Thank you fam❤πŸ™

I am grateful you took this route because the music you have been making is amazing. So my guy! I’ve been non stop bumpin Water and Oil and the vibe of that song is crazy, this one line where you said, “ I wanna change the situation at home man, now I'm stuck between writing a verse and doing homework" really slapped! So what are some of the biggest influences behind your sound?

I've been inspired by Nasty c ,like at first I was playing soccer because I though that is what my family expected of me ,but when I saw Nasty C,I realized this is what I wanna be... He really inspired me a lot dawg.

I also been inspired by Term N Khool they actually also one of the reasons I'm rapping, because back in the time it was rare for an artist to rap in our language, so I always felt like these guys are around and I wanna meet them so bad!

Nasty C is fire brooo! His music always gets me hype and Term & Khool, they really been sliding and pioneering lwaat rap. A big shout out to those that inspired you, look at what we have now! Who gets bragging rights for supporting you and helping you get to where you are now?

To my bro Phomolo Makoko, the niggar always believed in me ,I literally started my Facebook page and Instagram with his phone. He would also put the camera up whenever I slaan a freestyle and advise me to post it on IG , and would add that maybe nasty c will see it.
He's my day one for real. But I would also give a shout out to Decking ,he's also the reason where I'm at today,he's the one that took me to Black Money Records.

Wow that's incredible! every creative should have such a believer on their corner, he's a day one forreal. Well my dude, with all the time you have so far in the game, what has been your biggest accomplishment?

It must that Yex4 freestyle I did  that reached 230k views and the music video that I'm in playing on Channel O

Ouff that's That's real hard!! Can we expect a new project anytime soon? Are you working on one already?

expect a tape next year.

No spoiler alert or this some "find out on the next episode of Dragon Ball-Z?"πŸ˜‚

well ,we will just see🀣

Well i know it's going to be a jam packed piece for sure and I am stupid excited for it. We will be sure to tap in with that and let our readers know to check your new tape out when it drops. next I wanted to know, what’s your writing process like and how does someone get ahold of you for a feature?

For features?? Anyone interested in a collaboration can just hit me up on my socials or contact my label, Mindflow, if I'm not available.

I find it amazing that artists can talk to you personally for collaboration purposes... Say you're on a dream tour and you're the main act, which 4(international or local) artists would you want to grace the stage with?

Decking,Areece,Thatboyzeze ,lol you the other one🀣

Aye that was unexpectedπŸ˜‚πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ🏿 Would definitely be moshed up show! I've been to a Reece show, that nigga knows how to shake the crowd up haha! Well Queezey T, this has been awesome chopping it up with you, I really look forward to the tape coming up and all your future work! Is there anything else you woud like to add as we wrap this up?

I wanna thank all the people that believed in me and my dreams ,they should keep supporting meπŸ™
