Greetings, thanks for taking time to do this interview!
Before we speak about the upcoming releases, could you give our readers a bief introduction of who Mavisto is?

I'm Nhlanzeko Dlamini (23 years) well known as *Mavisto Usenzanii* ,the producer and a vocalist from Richards Bay.I work as a duo with MuTeo

Talk to us about your early years, what were you like as a younger version of Mavisto Usenzanii? Did it play a part in the artist you're evolving into?

Yes it did,in my early years I was a dancer and that leads to  develop love for making my music and dancer for my music. And that when I started composing music  and from that time I kept on learning new things day by day.

That's beautiful, transitioning from dacing to actually doing music. Is there a specific moment that made you realise that making music was your true passion?

Yes there was ,I did few tracks and uploaded em to free sites and people appreciated them,and that when I said no this is it if I can make people appreciate my music that I released after few weeks I started producing ,so I told myself this is my thing it inside me

How is it like growing up in Richard's Bay? Is music something that is accepted as a career path?

It is very hard for artists from Richards Bay ,we don't even have SAMRO ,RISA,SAMPRA ,CAPPASSO offices  and around Richards Bay they don't see music as a career path even parents advice their children to choose other careers and they must stay away from entertainment. They don't believe that someone can make a living through music.

It's high time the music organizations decentralised, this is a sad reality for many artists. What keeps you going despite all this because your work ethic is impeccable?

My passion for music and the support I get from people from different countries and different provinces here in SA is what keep me going since day one till now.

Let's talk about Kobanini Ep, how long have you been working on it?



I worked on it with my duo partner MuTeo ,we worked on it for a year along side Trademark, Megadrumz,Sibah Musiq & Newtonez

What inspired the Ep?

It the support we've been getting from our fans and we decided   to give them 2 EPs to show appreciation.


Say you're on a dream tour and you're the main act, which 4(international or local) artists would you want to grace the stage with?

I'd love to share a stage with the likes of Sun El musician, Black coffee, David Guetta & Julia church

Wow,those are some big names... I will most definitely be there in the front seats😂🔥🔥
