With his collection of fresh music and captivating persona, recording artist Passage MyNigga from Kanyamazane, Mpumalanga, has established himself as an artist to watch. 
As the year comes to a close and 2022 slated to be Passage MyNigga's most anticipated yet, we speak with the rising star on developing his unique sound, his personal growth and more. Before you check out his catalog, learn everything about Passage MyNigga in new interview below.

1. Thank you for doing this with us. For the unitiated, tell our readers about your Pseudonym?

Well I got my name from my Producer said it goes well with my surname which is " Mdluli " 

2. Talk to us about your early years, what were you like as a younger version of Passage? Did it play a part in what you are today?

What I am today is much more different than the person I use to be as growing up

3.How long have you been creating music?

Since 2018 I've been making music and going forward

4.To your potential new listeners, what are 2-3 must-listen songs from your catalog?

I recommend " Real Nigga , Drip Drip and Endlelen Yam


5.If you could describe your music in 2-3 words what would they be?

Amazing shit

6. Let's talk about Cinderella Is A Bxtch project, what inspired it?

I dated this one chick after my long relationship and she was always saying she's different kinda like Cinderella so she turned out to be a bitch too

7.Who were some of your influences growing up? Musical influences?

I would say K.O that guy been influencing me before I knew we shared the same surname and Offset did add some of the influence on building me

8.How is it like growing up in Kanyamazane? Is music something that is accepted as a career path?

Kanyamazane has got to be the most depressing place ever and if you make music people label you as " one of those who wont make it " they only support people they know or no support at all but Kanyamazane is a shitty place for me I won't lie

9.Can you talk to us about your pen, your craft and abilities? Where did the abilities come from?

I'd be lying if I said I knew , it just happens I don't plan what I want to write about it just happens as soon as I want to start writing different ideas come flying

10. What has been your biggest music moment since you started?

It has to be getting my royalities , receiving my money after a job well done now that's a moment to appreciate

11. What do you do the most, do you mostly freestlye or write your raps?

I write I can barely freestyle

Last year we published an article citing that T-Dngr.Boy was one artist to look out for ( read here ). Just over a year later he's proved to be one of the most consistent artists on the rise and this has scored him a nomination at this year's MAMAs under Best Hip Hop Artist category.
