Song Review: Company by Flassouw
One of Flassouw's great storytelling songs from her most recent EP, "Nothing To Something," is titled "Company." The album follows the female rapper's 'Teenage Life Patterns' effort by almost a year. This song features some of Flassouw's best lyrical work; her flow is flawless, and the phrases are delivered precisely and passionately.
I was astounded by how she brought out Mvx053 to sing backing vocals over the hook. The structure of this song is truly amazing; it has a little bit of everything. This provided the song the well-balanced "Melodic Hook" + "Rap Verse" + "Melodic Hook" formula, which has consistently shown to be a "hit song" formula if the plot and vocal delivery are planned up appropriately.
You can hear a lover pleading for her boyfriend on the chorus, saying she wants his company. The first verse tells the tale of a young woman who is under pressure from others because they have great expectations of her as she strives to achieve fame. According to one of the song's lyrics, she discusses how her troubles kept her "locked up in my room, I couldn't be a soldier."

In the second verse, Flassouw stretches her lyrical muscles once again by emphasizing that she just ignores drama in any manner she can and describing how, even as an adult, she is still keeping the commitments she made to herself as a child.
The song earns a respectable 8.5/10 from me. The song's production is also excellent; you must give the producer credit for giving listeners a terrifying experience. This song is a potent reminder of Flassouw's incredible talent, and any respectable playlist will undoubtedly feature it as a fan favorite. What do you think of the song?
