WEARTHD "OOH YEAH" SONG REVIEW

Weathrd definitely weathered the storm with this beautiful single called "OOH YEAH". He uses his confidence and creativity with a passion while he is singing for this mysterious girl. He is heard saying ," Girl you got me that ooh yeah". Which suggests that the feeling is so strong that he finds it inexplicable. And he portrays a sense of lust torwards her by saying,"tangled in the sheets that's all we gonna do". He balances all the elements of R&B and Hip-Hop very nicely while addressing the beat with sincere and heartfelt melody.

Makes the vocals sound like a more defined part of the mix ⁴. Brightens up the vocals for a more "professional sound"  One of the keywords are "Brightens", which refers to a tonality when the signal is rich in high frequencies. To make the vocal "poke" out of the mix this is one of the best ways as it creates a type of lift to the vocal that when done to proper taste, can be the difference between your vocal sounding bland and your vocal sounding crisp.   One of Flassouw's great storytelling songs from her most recent EP, "Nothing To Something," is titled "Company." The album follows the female rapper's 'Teenage Life Patterns' effort by almost a year. This song features some of Flassouw's best lyrical work; her flow is flawless, and the phrases are delivered precisely and passionately. I was astounded by how she brought out Mvx053 to sing backing vocals over the hook. The structure of this song is truly amazing; it has a little bit of everything. This provided the song the well-balanced "Melodic Hook" + "Rap Verse" + "Melodic Hook" formula, which has consistently shown to be a "hit song" formula if the plot and vocal delivery are planned up appropriately.
